NRS App Allows Retailers to Access POS Remotely

NEWARK, N.J. — National Retail Solutions (NRS), operator of a point-of-sale (POS) network for independent convenience stores, has launched the My NRS Store app. The app allows stores in the NRS network to access their POS terminals and manage their businesses remotely. The NRS app provides our store owners with an amazing tool to manage their business anywhere they have internet connectivity, said Elie Y. Katz, CEO of NRS. The app brings the key functionality of our POS terminals to any phone or tablet. Owners can check on sales and inventory, see which products are selling, manage who is using the register and put items on promotion whether they are across the street or on the other side of the world. More than 4,000 independent convenience stores currently use NRS’ POS terminal platform. The platform includes special offers, discounts and coupons on popular brands and some specialty products. Promotions are targeted to the stores’ existing customers and the 3 million members of NRS’ consumer-facing BR Club rewards program. The POS terminals also provide merchants with tools to control costs, optimize inventory and process transactions efficiently. We designed our platform to help owners bring in more customers, increase sales, and operate more profitably, said Eli Korn, vice president of NRS. The My NRS Store app is a wonderful complement to the terminal platform, freeing owners to manage key operations when they can’t be present in their stores. The My NRS Store Android app is available now for download from Google Play, and the iOS app is coming to the App Store soon. Newark, N.J.-based NRS operates a POS terminal-based platform for independent retailers and bodega owners nationwide.
